About Shuttle Storm
The one rule that makes Shuttle Storm feel like badminton rather than reskinned tennis: the shuttle never bounces. It touches the floor and the rally is over, immediately, with no second chance to scramble. That single change turns every shot into a commitment, because there is no safe way to let something drop and deal with it afterwards.
The shuttlecock is modelled with air drag rather than plain gravity, so it decelerates hard through its flight — a clear floats and hangs, a smash arrives before you have finished thinking about it, and a net drop dies almost where it lands. Four shots come out of two inputs: hold right for a deep clear, left for a drop, neither for a flat drive, and swing from a jump or a high shuttle for the smash. The AI simulates its options and picks the one landing furthest from where you're standing.
How to play Shuttle Storm
Move with the arrow keys or A and D, jump with W, and press Space to swing. The rule that makes this badminton rather than tennis with a different sprite: the shuttle never bounces. If it touches your floor the rally is over immediately, so there is no safe way to let something drop and deal with it afterwards.

About this game
More from the Storm series
Three racquet-and-net sports built on the same controls but deliberately different physics — a ball that bounces, a ball that must not, and a shuttle that never does.

Shuttle Storm — frequently asked questions
Why does the shuttle slow down so much in flight?
Because real shuttlecocks do. The game models air drag rather than plain gravity, which is why a clear hangs at the back of the court and a drop shot falls almost vertically.
How does rally scoring work?
Every rally is a point regardless of who served, and the winner of the rally serves next. Short matches play to 11, full games to 21, both needing a two-point margin.
When should you smash rather than clear?
Smash near the net where the drag has not killed the shot yet. From the back of the court a smash usually falls short, and a clear is the safer reset when you are out of position.
Does Shuttle Storm work on mobile?
Yes — an on-screen pad gives you move, jump and swing on a touchscreen.
