About Bingo Live
Bingo Live is bingo played the way it works in a hall: one caller, one set of numbers, everybody listening at once. The difference is that everyone is on their own phone and nobody has to be in the same room — or the same country.
You either press quick play and get dropped into a room that has space, or create a private room and share the five-letter code. Rooms seat eight. When one fills up the next person is sent to a fresh room automatically rather than being turned away, so a busy night just means more games running at once.
The numbers are called by the server, not by your phone, which is what makes it fair: everyone sees the same number at the same moment, and marking a number that has not been called is simply refused. If the room is quiet, bots take the empty seats so there is still a game — they always carry an AI tag and are never dressed up as people.
How to play Bingo Live
Type a name and press quick play, or create a private room and send the five-letter code to whoever you want in the game. Anyone who types that code lands in your room. You can join a game that has already started — you will be dealt a card and credited with the numbers already called, so arriving late is not an automatic loss.
When a number is called it lights up on your card if you have it. Tap it to daub. Complete five lines — rows, columns or diagonals, with the centre square free — then press BINGO to claim. A claim that is not actually five lines is rejected and tells you how many you really have.
How to play Bingo Live
- Type your name in the box on the home screen. It can be up to 24 characters and is remembered on your device next time.
- Press ⚡ Quick play — find me a room to join whoever is about, or 🔑 Create a private room to start your own. If a friend has already sent you a code, type it into the CODE box and press Join ▶.
- The room screen shows the code in large letters and a list of everyone seated. It reads "waiting for the first number…" until the caller begins, which is the moment to send the code to anyone still missing.
- Once play starts, the last number called appears in large figures above your card. Further down, below the card and the seat list, is every number called so far, with a running count.
- Any called number on your card that you have not daubed yet gets a gold outline. Tap it and it fills in blue. The counter beside the BINGO! button tracks your progress as "lines of 5".
- At five lines, press 🎉 BINGO!. The game-over screen names the winner and shows the final seat list, and Play again ▶ takes you straight into a quick-play room.
Bingo Live tips and strategy
- Let the gold outlines do the checking. You never need to compare the called list against your card by eye. Anything called but still undaubed is outlined, so a quick sweep for gold before claiming is all it takes.
- The free centre is worth four lines. The middle square sits on the centre row, the centre column and both diagonals, so each of those four lines needs only four numbers. Of the twelve possible lines on the card, those are the quickest to finish.
- Watch the seat list, not just your card. Each player's line count appears beside their name, and a message pops up whenever someone reaches a new total. When rivals sit on four, daub fast and be ready to press.
- Stay together after a private game. Play again ▶ sends you to quick play rather than back to the same room. If your group wants a second game together, one of you should create a new room and share the fresh code.
- Read the "away" tag kindly. A player whose connection drops is greyed out and marked away, but keeps their seat and card. Give them a moment before assuming they have quit.
- Know your ping colours. The badge in the corner shows your round-trip time in milliseconds: green is under 120, amber is under 280, and red is anything slower. "reconnecting…" means the link has dropped and the game is trying to rejoin.
Who will enjoy Bingo Live
Bingo Live suits groups who want a shared game without shared furniture: relatives spread across cities, a team on a video call, or friends killing ten minutes on the way home. Nobody needs to download anything or make an account, and a room of eight is enough for a proper game without feeling crowded. Because latecomers can still join a game in progress, there is no need to hold everyone back while one person finds their phone.
The card is a standard 5×5 dealt by the server, so everyone plays on equal terms and there is nothing to set up. It is bingo for fun only. There is no stake, no prize and no real money anywhere in the game, which also makes it an easy one to play with children or older relatives.

This game reports no score of its own, so the board ranks time actually spent playing it — counted only while the tab is in front of you and you are playing, and capped each day. Today resets at midnight IST, the week resets on Monday.

Bingo Live — frequently asked questions
Do we all need to be in the same place?
No — that is the point of this one. Everyone plays on their own device wherever they are. Share the five-letter room code and you are in the same game.
How many people fit in a room?
Eight. When a room is full the next player is placed in a new room automatically rather than being refused, so several games can run side by side.
What happens if my phone locks or I lose signal?
Your seat and your card are held for you. The game carries on without you and you pick up where you left off when you reconnect — the numbers called while you were away are still there.
Are the other players real?
The ones without an AI tag are. When a room is quiet, bots fill the empty seats so there is still a game to play, and they are always marked. A real player joining takes a bot's place, so a bot never costs you a seat.
Can someone cheat by marking numbers early?
No. Your phone does not decide what counts — the server does. Marking a number that has not been called is refused, and so is claiming a win you do not have.
Is it free?
Yes, with no account and nothing to install. It runs in the browser like everything else here.
Why are some numbers on my card outlined in gold?
A gold outline means the number has been called but you have not daubed it yet. Tap it to mark it, and it turns blue.
How do we play a second game with the same group?
Play again takes you to quick play, which may put you in a different room. To keep the group together, have one person create a new private room and share the new five-letter code.
Is any money involved in Bingo Live?
No. It is free bingo played for fun, with no stakes, no prizes and nothing to buy.
