About BrickLab Infinite Plots

BrickLab Infinite Plots is the quiet one. Claim a 48 by 48 plot in an empty world and build, with no quests, no nightfall and nothing hunting you. It exists because the other modes are about pressure and sometimes you just want to make something.

Structures built in Open World can be pasted in, so a thing you made under pressure can be finished somewhere calm.

It is an alpha and is marked as one in the game. It is the simplest of the four modes and the most stable for that reason.

How to play BrickLab Infinite Plots

Claim a plot and start placing. There is nothing to survive and no clock, so the only limit is the plot boundary — and you can claim another.

To bring in something you built elsewhere, paste an Open World structure rather than rebuilding it by hand.

How to play BrickLab Infinite Plots

  1. Open the game from this page on a desktop or laptop and go fullscreen if you can. Building uses the mouse and the keyboard together, so a phone will not get you far.
  2. Claim your first plot. You get a 48 by 48 square of empty ground, and nothing else in the world is waiting for your attention.
  3. Walk the edges with WASD or the arrow keys before placing anything. Seeing the boundary from the ground gives you a much better sense of the space than guessing from the middle.
  4. Aim with the mouse and left-click to place a piece. Right-click removes whatever you are pointing at, so a wrong brick costs you a single click to fix.
  5. If you already started something in BrickLab Open World, paste that structure in and carry on with it here instead of rebuilding from memory.
  6. When the plot is full, or a new idea deserves a clean sheet, claim another plot and leave the first one exactly as it is.

BrickLab Infinite Plots tips and strategy

  • Mark the corners first. A single brick at each corner of the footprint you have in mind shows at once whether the idea actually fits inside 48 by 48, before you have committed a whole wall to it.
  • Keep one plot for testing. Because you can claim more than one, it is worth having a scrap plot where you try out a roof shape or a staircase, then rebuild the version that worked on your main plot.
  • Build the shell before the detail. Walls and floors first, windows and trim last. It is far easier to change the overall shape of a plain box than one covered in decoration.
  • Use right-click as an eraser, freely. With no materials to run out of and nothing attacking you, deleting and replacing is part of the process rather than a waste.
  • Finish your Open World builds here. Something you put up in a hurry while gathering and trading can be pasted into a calm plot, cleaned up and extended without any distractions.
  • Remember the ground is part of the build. A 48 by 48 plot leaves room for paths, gardens or a courtyard around a building, and that space often does more for a finished plot than another storey would.

Who will enjoy BrickLab Infinite Plots

This is the mode for people who like the building more than the game around it. If you have ever wanted to spend an evening getting a single tower right, with no timer and no threat pulling you away, Infinite Plots gives you exactly that and nothing else. It suits careful builders, people who sketch ideas before committing to them, and anyone who found the survival modes too busy to concentrate in.

It also works as a workshop for the rest of BrickLab. Players who spend most of their time in Open World or Frontier can use a plot to rehearse a design, or to give a rushed structure the finish it never got. Since the mode is still marked as an alpha, expect it to keep changing, but its small, focused scope is the reason it is the steadiest of the four.

BrickLab Infinite Plots — frequently asked questions

What is the point of this one?

There isn't one, deliberately. It is a sandbox with no goals for when you want to build rather than survive.

How big is a plot?

48 by 48, and you can claim more than one.

Can I bring in a build from another mode?

Yes — Open World structures can be pasted in.

Is it finished?

It is marked Empty World Alpha in the game. It is the simplest mode and correspondingly the most stable.

Is it free?

Yes, and there is no account.

Can anything damage my build in Infinite Plots?

No. There are no quests, no nightfall and nothing hunting you in this mode, so nothing in the game is set up to attack what you place. The only thing that removes bricks is your own right-click.

Which controls do I need?

Move with WASD or the arrow keys, look and aim with the mouse, left-click to place and right-click to delete. A keyboard and mouse on a desktop or laptop is the setup it is built for.

What should I build first?

Something small that fits comfortably inside the 48 by 48 boundary, such as a single house or tower. It teaches you how much room a plot really holds before you try anything larger.
