Neon Fist: Tower Raid is a side-scrolling brawler that actually scrolls. Five streets climb the tower — a rain-soaked rooftop, a metro underpass, a lantern market, a skybridge and the dojo at the top — and you walk every metre of them. The camera runs with you until a crew steps out to block the way, holds while you settle it, and opens again when the ground is clear.
It is a brawler with depth in both senses. The street is a band you move around in, not a line, so a punch thrown thirty pixels off someone's line goes past their nose. Punches chain into combos, kicks knock people down, and a special costs chi and clears the space around you. Four fighters to pick from, four kinds of thug to work through, and a boss guarding the stairs on every floor.
Bring people. Two to four raiders share one street and one camera in online co-op, and the way up only opens when the whole section is down. Seats nobody has taken are held by the tower's own fighters, marked AI, and they step aside the moment a player arrives.
How to play Neon Fist: Tower Raid
Walk with W A S D or the arrow keys — up and down move you through the depth of the street, not just along it. Punch with J, kick with K, and spend chi on a special with L. Space hops.
Clear each section to open the way. When a crew blocks the street the camera holds; put all of them down and the arrow appears telling you to move up.
Five floors, a boss on each. You get three trips back to your feet — when those are gone the raid is over, so use the health and chi that beaten fighters drop.

Neon Fist: Tower Raid — frequently asked questions
Is this a wave arena?
No, and that is the point. You walk the whole length of every street. The camera follows, holds while a section fights, and opens once it is clear — the five floors are five places you travel through rather than five backdrops behind the same fight.
How does the online co-op work?
Two to four raiders share one street and one camera, and the whole fight is simulated on the room server rather than on anybody's machine. Empty seats are held by the tower's own fighters, marked AI, and they hand over the moment a person arrives.
What is chi for?
The special. It costs 42 chi and hits everything around you rather than in front of you, which makes it the answer to being surrounded. Chi builds as you land ordinary hits, so you earn it by fighting well.
What happens when I go down?
You get back up. Three times — each revival puts you on your feet at just under half health with a couple of seconds of invulnerability. When the last one is spent, the raid ends.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. There is a thumb stick on the left and punch, kick, hop and special on the right, and the game fits the screen in either orientation.
