About Monsoon Protocol

Monsoon Protocol gives you fifty contracts and almost no rules about how to complete them. Each one names a target, a place and a set of bonuses. Take the quiet route and you keep the bonuses. Kick the door in and you keep none of them — but you still finish the job. Only two things actually end a run: letting an extraction deadline expire, and letting a courier get away.

That makes the score the whole argument. A contract is worth ten thousand at the ceiling, and everything you do moves it: being seen costs you, each body costs you, a silent takedown pays you back, accuracy pays, and dawdling past three minutes bleeds points slowly. Finish clean and you are a Silent operator. Get spotted and you are Detected. Leave a mess and you are Compromised — which is a rating, not a failure.

Fifty operations, none of them the same room twice

Twenty-seven contracts name someone to eliminate; the other twenty-three are evidence, rescue and sabotage work where there is no target at all. Beyond that the shape keeps changing — an undercover pursuit where you borrow a broker's jacket and follow your mark to his exchange, an investigation where three guests wear different ties and only the catalogue says which one matters, a blackout heist, a witness escort, a courier interception, a handover that goes wrong on purpose.

It runs from a Mazgaon container pier in Mumbai to a syndicate compound in Delhi, through Begum Bazaar, an Ennore tanker terminal, auction gardens in Jaipur and a Fort Kochi customs house — thirty cities, five acts, ten kinds of environment. Your kit is five things and each has an argument for it: a suppressed pistol you can carry through a crowd, an assault rifle loud enough to end the quiet approach, a suppressed sniper with five rounds and a scope you zoom by hand, a distraction coin, and a garrote that only works from behind someone who has not seen you.

How to play Monsoon Protocol

Pick a contract from the bureau. The brief names the target, the place and the bonuses on offer.

Move with W A S D, sprint with Shift, crouch with C. Press H to holster before you walk into the open.

Press E to interact with doors, terminals, records and disguises. F is a takedown from behind.

Choose equipment with 1 to 5. Aim with right mouse or X; scope zoom is the wheel or the bracket keys.

Finish the objectives and reach extraction. Your best score per contract is saved in the browser.

Monsoon Protocol — frequently asked questions

Is Monsoon Protocol free?

Yes. It runs in the browser with no download and no sign-up. Your best result on each contract saves in the browser you play in.

How many missions are there?

Fifty, across five acts and thirty Indian cities. Twenty-seven name a target to eliminate; the other twenty-three are evidence, rescue or sabotage jobs with no target at all.

Can I fail a contract?

Only two ways: let a timed extraction deadline expire, or let a courier escape. Everything else — being seen, killing the wrong person, using the wrong weapon — costs you score, not the run.

So what do the conditions mean?

They are bonuses, not bans. 'No collateral kills bonus' means you keep points for leaving the guards alone, and lose them if you don't. You will still finish the contract either way.

How is the score worked out?

Ten thousand at the ceiling. Being detected, killing people and running over three minutes take from it; silent takedowns and accuracy add to it. That gives you a rating of Silent operator, Detected or Compromised.

What is in the loadout?

A suppressed pistol, an assault rifle, a suppressed sniper with a hand-zoomed scope, distraction coins and a garrote. Some contracts offer a bonus for a particular method.

Does it work on a phone?

There is a joystick and on-screen buttons, so yes. It is built around mouse aiming, though, so a mouse is a real advantage on the sniper contracts.

Are my scores shared online?

No. Best score per contract is kept in your own browser. This game does not post to the site's shared rankings.
